Elevador Lacerda is an elevator that connects the lower city to the upper city. The elevator was built between 1869 to 1873, named after Antonoio de Lacerda, who was used to be the director of the Commercial Association of Bahia. Its 78 meter Hight makes it popular among locals and foreigners, as it goes up, you can have beautiful view of the city below.

Lgreja e convent is a church in the state of Bahia, Salvador this church was started building when the saints Francis first arrived in Salvador 1587, The old structure of the convent was destroyed in Dutch invasion but latter the current structure was initiated under the leadership of Vecnate das Chagas in 1686 and found to reach completion in 18th centaury- Church's inner structure including walls, vaults and pillar are sculpted with gold, gilt, woodwork and paintings.

This light house is popularly known as the Santo Antonio lighthouse. The present lighthouse is 2nd built in1839 dedicated by Dom Pedro II. The lighthouse is 72 meter high and paint black & white which can be seen from afar. This site is worth to visit when ever you visit Salvador, Brazil.
Cathedral of Salvador :
The is a famous cathedral is popular place of Salvador this is also worth to visit. The structure of this cathedral was built by The Society of Jesus, for the large Jesuit monastery and educational complex. The current Church is built on the same site and did holy in 1654.
